The terroir

The estate is situated on the slopes of the ESCLANS river valley. The soil and rocks, dating from the permian age, clay / sandstone of red color, give to the terroir undeniable qualities to cultivate vintages, and also add a particular beauty to the setting. The pervious, stony soil, poor in humus and well drained, is particularly adapted to produce quality vintages.

Moreover, the estate benefits from the proximity of the Mediterranean sea (12 km, the sea can be spotted from the property) and of the mistral wind wich is dowtoned by the nearby hill sides. A steady exposure to regular sunshine allows an optimum maturity of grapes.
